Maisie Peters, The Japanese House and Thomas Headon are the cover stars for July 2023's edition of Dork.
A long-time fave, Maisie Peters is about to drop her brand new, absolutely brilliant album, 'The Good Witch'. A melodic diary penned from soul-stirring experiences, it's sure to cast a spell over anyone that hears it.
The Japanese House - aka Amber Bain - first featured on the cover of the magazine right back on issue 5, with her latest appearance marking the completion of her Dork hat-trick. It's a deserved accolade, too. New record 'In The End It Always Does' is a high bar for an artist who regularly exceeds lofty expectations. An album of the year contender if ever there was one, it's a layered, immersive work that resonates on a profound, human level.
Thomas Headon is about to drop six songs he likes, and thinks you'll like too, with his very accurately named new project 'Six Songs That Thomas Headon Likes And Thinks That You Would Like Too'. He's descriptive like that, but also undoubtedly correct - they're all brilliant. Set to headline Dork's Day Out this August in London, we're delighted to welcome him to the cover for the first time.
Elsewhere this month, we're there for the dawn of brand new super-duper group Fizz, being introduced to 'rock music' with Royal Blood, plus catching up with Gengahr, Pool Kids, Remi Wolf and more.
In Hype, we're introducing you to Katie Gregson-Macloed, Cate, Spider and Cole Bleu, plus talent spotting at The Great Escape. There's also Maneskin, Beyoncé, Do Nothing, Gus Dapperton, Peace and loads, loads more.
All orders will dispatch before Friday, 7th July.
